Registration

Is pre-registration required? Can I just show up on event day?

All registrations go through our online ticketing system. You may arrive without pre-registering but you will still need to reguster through our system, and certain packages may be unavailable at the gate and same-day registration takes longer. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged — ideally well before the event.

I'm arriving late. Will I still be able to get in?

Gate operations continue until 2:00 AM. If you're renting an RV through BMRA, note that keys are not accessible overnight — you'll need to return in the morning to collect them.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations are accepted up until March 31st with a 20% cancellation fee. No cancellations are permitted after March 31st due to expenses already incurred. To cancel, contact registration@toyotajamboree.com.

What if it rains? Is the event cancelled?

The Toyota Jamboree is a rain-or-shine event and will not be cancelled due to weather. Previous events have run successfully in wet conditions — pack accordingly and embrace it.

Are there Thursday or Friday day passes?

Only Saturday day passes are available. Due to volunteer staffing limitations, registration complexity and abuse by a few, Thursday and Friday day passes are not offered.

Off-Roading & The Trails

I don't have a Toyota. Can I still wheel at BMRA that weekend?

With the exception of tow vehicles, approved attending sponsors, and vendors — only Toyota vehicles are permitted on the trails. Passengers and spectators are welcome in any vehicle.

I'm new to off-roading. Are there beginner trails?

Absolutely. BMRA has plenty of trails for beginners, plus training sessions, guided runs, and additional beginner-friendly activities throughout the event. You don't need a built-out rig to have a great time.

I have a stock 4x4. Can I attend?

Yes — BMRA has plenty of trails suitable for stock vehicles. All you need is a bare minimum of 4WD capability. Many attendees run completely stock Tacomas, 4Runners, and FJ Cruisers.

I have a 4x2 off-road capable vehicle. Can I attend?

Some trails can accommodate 4x2 vehicles, but they're excluded from guided runs to keep things fair and manageable for staff and volunteers, so make sure you come with a group to run with. You can still participate in many event activities.

Why do trails close at 10pm?

The 10pm curfew is a park rule and exists to protect the park's future. Past incidents involving late-night loud and disrespectful off-roaders put our access at risk. Violators face removal from the event and the park — no exceptions.

Is alcohol allowed in the park?

Alcohol is permitted in camp areas, but is expressly forbidden on all trails. Glass containers are prohibited everywhere in the park.

Can I buy alcohol in Gilmer?

Beer is available locally in Gilmer. However, liquor sales are not permitted in the area — plan accordingly.

Camping & The Park

Is camping included in my registration?

Yes Primitive camping throughout the park is included with all 4-day wheeling registrations.

Can I reserve a specific campsite?

Camp areas are first-come, first-served. The TTR event host campsite is exclusively reserved for TTR members.

Are RV hookups available?

BMRA has limited Electric (30-amp, 18 sites) RV hookups available via reservation through the BMRA website calendar — first-come, first-served. Premium full-hookup (50-amp with water & sewer, 8 sites) are typically all reserved for staff, volunteers, sponsors and vendors. See the Lodging & Camping page for full details.

Are cabins available at BMRA?

No. All on-site cabins and bunkhouses are fully reserved during the Jamboree event period and are not available for attendee booking.

Are campfires permitted?

Campfires and fire pits are allowed when fire bans are not active. You must monitor your fire at all times and never leave it unattended.

Does BMRA have showers?

BMRA has two shower facilities at the park. They are limited in number and queues tend to be long in the afternoons — plan accordingly.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes — dogs are welcome. We ask that they be on a leash at all times. Dogs that are unfriendly toward other animals or children should be left at home.

Food & Meals

Is food included in my registration?

Meals are optional add-ons — Friday and Saturday dinners are available for an additional charge at registration. Food and beverages trucks and vendors are available for purchase Thursday through Saturday throughout the event.
